Things You May Not Know About Oceania Cruises: 

  1. Beginning with the 2010 European season, Oceania will begin including bottled water and sodas on all cruises.
  2. Oceania is now offering Insignia's 40-day, Feb. 22, 2010, Grand Circle So. America sailing in two segments, as well as the full 40-day cruise.   The 40-day Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro cruise can be split into a a 13-day Buenos Aires to Valparaiso segment, or into a 27-day segment from Valparaiso to Rio de Janeiro.
  3. Oceania has a new ship, Marina, under construction. Marina should arrive in September of 2010.
  4. Oceania is currently accepting group requests on all 2010 itineraries.
  5. Jacques Pepin is Oceania's Executive Culinary Director. Pepin will host a 14-day culinary cruise from Barcelona to Istanbul this summer aboard Insignia.
  6. Oceania is offering $1000 per stateroom price reductions on Mediterranean itineraries this summer and fall. Fares begin at $2499 per person including air.
  7. Oceania is offering exotic 2009 - 2010 Winter itineraries to Asia, Australia & New Zealand, So. America, Caribbean, and Panama Canal with $2,500 per stateroom price reductions off of 2 for 1 Cruise Fares, and Free Airfare, WITH $500 per stateroom shipboard credits, and complimentary gratuities.
